Local Author’s Project for Kansas City schools in National Contest for $5 million!!
The competition is heating up!! As of 6/15/07 at 9:40am there are 5,662 projects submitted. The deadline for submission is this weekend!!
At this point “Bring forth the Potential of our Youth!!” which was only submitted on 6/14/07, is already ranked number 591 out of 5,662 projects!!! It will need at least 300 votes in order to win.

Local Author’s Project for Kansas City schools in National Contest for $5 million!!
A local author, Jerry W. Willis, has a project to improve our public school system in the American Express Members Project challenge which is offering up to $5 million to implement the winning proposal. The project is titled “Bring forth the Potential of our Youth!!”. It was submitted 6/14/07 in the Education section. Mr. Willis plans to try to implement the prototype program in the Kansas City school system if this project wins, and then, to seek the funding and approvals to implement it nationwide. Your support will be greatly appreciated…by Millions now and into the future!!
